Sounds a little harsh, but here’s the truth:
With graduation quickly approaching, my time at Miami is coming to a close. During this final semester I have received a number of questions all essentially asking what I am doing post-graduation. I do not necessarily have the answer, but that is absolutely ok.
I have always worn many hats and enjoyed a diverse combination of passions, from studying Premedical Studies, Philosophy, and French, to committing 20 years of my life to dance, to finding my latest passion in blogging and social media. I cannot say that all these interests have perfectly combined to make the ideal career path, but they are all important to who I am, and that is all that matters.
As I complete my education, I am grateful to have a stable income and to pursue all my dreams. I do not have all the answers, but the future is bright.
If you do not have all the answers, if you are intimidated by your next chapter, you are not alone. Do not rush yourself or stress yourself out over achieving the best prospects. No one really knows what they are doing, but once you find where you are meant to be, the work and the wait becomes so worth it.
